The German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) is the official representative of German economy in Azerbaijan. Acting as a bridge between the two countries, we promote bilateral economic relations, support German and Azerbaijani companies in market entry and business development and regularly organize high-level networking events.

Internship Opportunity for German Applicants

AHK Azerbaijan is currently seeking an intern from Germany to join our team as soon as possible.

Internship Duration:

  • 3 to 6 months

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Supporting the work of various departments
  • Assisting with research, market studies, and business partner searches
  • Designing and conducting surveys
  • Organizing delegation trips
  • Supporting event management
  • Translation work
  • General administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Enrolled student in a business-related degree program (Master’s or from the 4th semester of a Bachelor’s program)
  • Interest in and understanding of economic and political topics
  • Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong service orientation, independent and structured working style, team spirit, commitment, and flexibility
  • Confident use of MS Office

Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships (m/f/d)

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan 

Start Date: From 01.04.2026 

Type of Employment: Full-time 

 

AHK Azerbaijan is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead its Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships Team. The Head of the Team will manage high-level relationships with key stakeholders, drive strategic partnerships, and oversee market advisory services supporting German–Azerbaijani business cooperation. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide strategic leadership and ongoing development of the Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships Team. 
  • Implement AHK Azerbaijan’s strategic partnership framework and ensure alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with government bodies, IHKs, industry associations in Germany, and other international partners. 
  • Lead market promotion and business development activities for Azerbaijan in Germany, including opportunity identification and project acquisition. 
  • Secure, manage, and report on third-party funded projects. 
  • Identify and negotiate new partnership opportunities to establish long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations. 
  • Deliver market insights and advisory services to strengthen stakeholder relations, with a focus on Germany. 
  • Promote AHK Azerbaijan’s service portfolio and support German companies with market entry and sector-specific guidance. 
  • Plan and execute international forums, conferences, and business events with key partners. 
  • Ensure effective internal coordination, particularly with Marketing & Communications, to support coherent outreach. 
     

Your Profile 

  • University degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or related fields. 
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, business development, or corporate affairs. 
  • Proven leadership and experience working with senior-level stakeholders. 
  • Strong understanding of German and Azerbaijani business environments. 
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Experience in preparing reports, policy briefs, or concept papers. 
  • Strong interest in international economic relations and cross-cultural cooperation. 
  • Excellent command of German and English (written and spoken).

The German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) is part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad. We promote bilateral business relations, support companies in entering the market, and provide platforms for economic dialogue and cooperation. 

To further enhance our operations, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Marketing and Communication Team. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide strategic leadership and continuous development of the Marketing & Communication Team. 
  • Deliver and further enhance AHK market advisory services for German companies operating or exploring opportunities in Azerbaijan. 
  • Advise Azerbaijani companies on market entry, business opportunities, and sector-specific developments in Germany. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute business delegation trips to Azerbaijan. 
  • Monitor market trends and stakeholder needs in Azerbaijan to identify opportunities for business development and targeted communication. 
  • Prepare project-related market analyses and inputs supporting commercial activities and strategic initiatives in Azerbaijan. 
  • Plan and continually enhance AHK networking events, social events, and community-building formats. 
  • Oversee all PR and communication activities, including media relations, social media, website management, and publications, ensuring a consistent and impactful AHK brand presence. 
  • Ensure strong coordination and alignment with the Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships Team for coherent messaging and joint outreach efforts.
