Internship Opportunity for German Applicants
AHK Azerbaijan is currently seeking an intern from Germany to join our team as soon as possible.
Internship Duration:
- 3 to 6 months
Areas of Responsibility:
- Supporting the work of various departments
- Assisting with research, market studies, and business partner searches
- Designing and conducting surveys
- Organizing delegation trips
- Supporting event management
- Translation work
- General administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Enrolled student in a business-related degree program (Master’s or from the 4th semester of a Bachelor’s program)
- Interest in and understanding of economic and political topics
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong service orientation, independent and structured working style, team spirit, commitment, and flexibility
- Confident use of MS Office

Office Manager
AHK Azerbaijan is seeking an 'Office Manager' to join our Service Center as soon as possible.
Main Responsibilities
- Correspondence, travel arrangements, translations
- Incoming mail / distribution of mail: Receiving incoming correspondence (letters, courier deliveries, faxes, e-mails), systematising, registering, and forwarding it to office management and chamber employees; responding to enquiries
- Outgoing mail: Registering and dispatching mail via courier
- Answering and transferring incoming telephone calls
- Regular archiving and updating of documents
- Preparation of meetings organised by office management
- Reception and support of visitors; preparation of meeting rooms for appointments
- Providing hospitality for office guests
- Assistance with events organised by the chamber:
- Preparation & Organisation: Sending invitations, managing guest lists, preparing materials
- On-site Support: Assisting with guest reception, checking technical setup, monitoring the schedule
- Follow-up: Helping with cleanup, collecting feedback, sending thank-you notes - Procurement of office supplies
- Support and maintenance of office equipment (printer, fax, telephone system, IT devices)
- Management of company and CV databases
Job Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Confident use of MS Office applications
- Confident handling of office equipment (printer, fax, telephone system, IT devices)
- Strong organisational and communication skills; resilience, flexibility, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team
