DIHK Economic Survey Fall 2017
The Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) is presenting the results of its Economic Survey Fall 2017 with the analysis “Using momentum, releasing the investment brakes”.
The German economy will remain on course for success in 2018. The DIHK increases its economic growth forecast to 2.2% in 2018.
The business situation of the companies is better than ever. The increased expectations from spring have been fulfilled. Business concerns about domestic demand are falling.
In addition, the employment plans are even more expansive. Thus, consumption is likely to continue to grow next year.
With investment intentions at a record level, companies are also entering the starting blocks for an investment-driven upturn. Export expectations are also improving.
