On 28 February 2023, AHK Azerbaijan hosted a Webinar on the Education and Training system in Azerbaijan. During the webinar, several speakers presented the education and training sector in Azerbaijan and discussed challenges and market opportunities for German Companies.

Among the speakers were Heiko Schwarz, Deputy Head of the German Embassy in Baku, who introduced to the political framework conditions between Germany and Azerbaijan, as well as Jeyhun Karamov, head of the State Agency for Vocational Education, who stressed that vocational education has become a focus of government policy in the last 10 years and highlighted the role of digital education.

Further speakers from AHK members Azercell Telecom LLC, Bildungswerk der Baden-Württembergischen Wirtschaft e.V. and Norm Cement LLC gave the German participants first-hand insights into the Azerbaijani market for Vocational Education.
