On 30 November 2022, the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) held the official presentation of the “Market Analysis Azerbaijan 2022-2023”, released in cooperation with Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). This exclusive event presented the publication to Azerbaijani press and news agencies and brought around 50 high-level representatives from Germany and Azerbaijan together. This edition follows the first edition of the Market Analysis in 2019. 
 
The event was opened by the welcoming speech of Mr Tobias Baumann, Executive Director of AHK Azerbaijan and Dr Ralf Horlemann, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Azerbaijan. The ambassador expressed his appreciation for this project and called it a “must-read and must-know”. In his speech, he highlighted the good prospects for business between Germany and Azerbaijan. In his eyes, “Market Analysis Azerbaijan 2022-2023 shows where German companies can see their biggest interest.” 
 
Following this, the highlights of the industries analysed in the publication were presented by Mr Baumann. He expressed his gratitude to the GTAI organisation and the companies that supported the publication with valuable statements for this successful cooperation. During his presentation, Mr Baumann not only outlined the trends but also gave examples of AHK Azerbaijan actively contributing to the development of the sectors through business trips, partnerships and research projects. 
 
The whole event was outlined by brunch for the participants. In addition to the presentation of the publication, the meeting entailed Q&A Session to facilitate discussions and to provide an opportunity for networking with AHK Azerbaijan members and friends. 
 
About the Publication: “Market Analysis Azerbaijan 2022-2023” publication provides an overview of the 12 priority sectors in the economy of Azerbaijan, analyses current trends and projects as well as presents opportunities in the respective industries. How are the sectors currently developing? What are the positive trends? Where are the opportunities? This study aims to provide the readers with answers to these questions and is intended as a guide for those interested in the Azerbaijani market. The issue also includes statements provided by the directors and senior representatives of leading German and Azerbaijani businesses on the assessment of the business climate in the country and the current situation of their companies and projects.
