Sustainable and Just Transitions: Innovations for a Greener Tomorrow

We are pleased to inform you that AHK Azerbaijan, in collaboration with various German agencies, is planning to organise a series of events during COP29.

We are excited to invite you to an exclusive information session organized by Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg in cooperation with AHK Azerbaijan. The event, entitled “Sustainable and Just Transitions: Innovations for a Greener Tomorrow,” will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the COP29 Green Zone, Azersun Pavilion.

This event will explore sustainable business models for innovations in hydrogen, CCUS and critical raw materials, which are essential for transitioning away from fossil energy. Join us for in-depth panels on innovations in green technologies, comparative success models, and legal frameworks that will define the future of sustainable energy and material economies.

The first panel will explore the conditions, challenges, and opportunities of green technologies, particularly breakthroughs and radical innovations towards a zero-emission economy.

The second panel discusses socio-economic and socio-ecological aspects of just transitions from a regional and transregional perspective. You can get additional information about the event from the agenda.
